03Installation
One guided install. Then press play.
Choose the installer for your computer. It checks each component, explains why it is needed, and asks before installing components or restarting Spotify.

Spotify desktop
The player Icy Lyrics lives inside. The installer finds the supported desktop app and offers Spotify’s official download when it is missing.

Spicetify
The open-source customization layer that allows Spotify to load extensions. It is installed for your user account and can be restored later.

Icy Lyrics
The synchronized-lyrics extension itself. The downloaded file is checksum-verified, backed up when replacing an older build, enabled, and applied only after you approve the Spotify restart.

Icy Lyrics 1.1.0
The current Icy Lyrics release is available for Spicetify on desktop and as an Android APK. Icy Lyrics is AGPL licensed, and the desktop extension checks this website for a newer checksum-verified runtime when Spotify starts.
